I haven't used this very much, but I am impressed with how quiet and solid it is. I had a Porter Cable "Pancake" oil-less unit which I ruined due to overload. This is my second Mac air compressor, the previous one lasted for 15 years of professional service, it still works but I wanted something a little quieter. This unit is so quiet you can hold a cell phone convesation right beside it while its charging. It was delivered in perfect condition as well.

Its a heavy pig, but that usually indicates quality components and sturdy construction. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it runs. I couldn't be more happy with my new purchase. I'll gladly lug it around or use a hand truck. I didn't find myself reaching for hearing protection when it kicked on. The second thing I noticed was the weight. All the most delicate parts are wrapped in the middle of a sturdy steel body, and the heavy-duty rubber feet are stout and strong. I think this will travel well in the back of my truck on any road I may encounter.
